A brief report on the Institutional Seminar for the New Life Fellowship, Mumbai

The birth of a Divine Vision!
Mumbai, the financial capital of India, has always posed a tremendous challenge for effective evangelism and also for impact of the H.I. ministry. Fervent prayers were made continuously to the Lord to for a strategy, which would be the “Red Button” pressed to open up Mumbai.

In His own time, the Lord brought the H.I together with the New Life Fellowship(NLF) Church, the fastest growing church community in the state and also all over India. An institutional seminar to equip the NLF top leaders was birthed and by His grace from 9th-13th May’06, this seminar was conducted in a top class venue with 28 TOP level leaders of the NLF. The seminar turned out to be a transformational one; every leader has accepted that there has been a greater equipping and upgrading in their lives and zeal for evangelism.

Avenues Explored
The seminar has opened gateway to conduct seminars in all the 96 Pin Code areas of Mumbai and to cover the entire city strategically. The senior leaders of the NLF have already decided to conduct the H.I. seminars for their own leaders shortly. The seminar has given birth to a movement called Mission Mumbai to equip the leaders of city to be a powerful witness for Christ and work towards a transformed Mumbai.

It is estimated that if leaders from more that 250 NLF churches and 1200 celebration groups are trained, the H.I. would be instrumental in releasing approx, 20,000 trained leaders for evangelism in the city of Mumbai. I Praise God for this wonderful opening in the city which was hitherto a great challenge, …wonderful are His ways .
