A brief Report on the
Special Leadership Seminar for Doctors (SLSD) held at the
Karakonam Medical College, Kerala
 The
Special Leadership Seminar for Doctors (SLSD) held from 24-28
August 2005 for the staff & faculty of the Karakonam Medical
College, Kerala was a grand success. The seminar was the initiative
of Dr. Latha Paul and our Regional Director (South) who in
coordination with Dr. Bennet Abraham, Director of the Institute
planned the seminar. The organizing team of three doctors
namely Dr. Peter Chellappa, Dr. Mathew and Dr. Varghese had
done a splendid job in materializing the seminar.
Our Regional Director for the Southern Region Mr. Thomas
Abraham says, “By the grace of God the Karakonam SLSD
was concluded on 28th August 2005. The CSI Bishop Rt. Rev.
Gladson, South Kerala Diocese, Trivandrum, inaugurated the
seminar. 25 Staff and doctors graduated in the seminar.”
 Mr.
PKD Lee, Dr. George Samuel, Dr. Latha Paul, Dr. Deepak Abraham,
Raju Cherian, Valentine Davidar and Thomas Abraham facilitated
in the seminar. The seminar has made such a powerful impact
that the faculty and the staff of the college would be organizing
a similar program next year for the faculty and the staff
of the nursing college in Karakonam.
The Impact
The impact of the seminar can be felt from the feedback given
